Unlesss you installed a pair of leads prior to this, you're going to have to take out the battery. Don't worry it's easy. Remove the seat (one bolt each side, 10mm I believe) Remove the side covers (3 screws) remove the tool pouch cover, tool pouch, and the cover plate/tool pouch mount. detach the breathing tube. Disconnect the terminals, ( do the left side first, then slide the battery out a little to do the other)
